So, I'm in the mood for bathrooms! Anyone else...anyone? {*tap tap*} Is this thing on? Maybe it's just me. We're currently planning to redo both our master bath and the boys' bathroom, so I'm on the lookout for ideas, especially within my own 'hood. Enter another Reston Remodelista! My neighbor Steph is one of those crazy overachieving types. Get this: When she was 8 months pregnant with her third child, she thought it would be an awesome time to put an addition on her house. Hey, did I mention she's also a pediatrician? Mmm hmmm. ;-) The space turned out amazing! There aren't any before photos, because this space didn't, you know...exist before. So here are the After shots. I love absolutely everything about this bathroom! While we were trying to get completely finished shots of the master bedroom, we decided to show you the close-to-finished version. Just imagine even more amazing bed linens and window treatments! Um. You forgot to mention the heated bathroom floors ;-). I want to pay to brush my teeth @ Steph's house every night.

Agreed! I'm focused on style over substance, which is never a good thing. ;-)

Wow!!!!! This looks great. I love the way the marble floor tiles are laid out and I love the shower tile too. I got similar sconces (are they from RH?) for my clients beach house. Nice job

She is crazy! An addition at 8 months pregnant with 2 little ones running around? I am only 4 months with #2 and I can hardly lift a paintbrush, let alone have my whole house ripped apart! The results look really, really good though. If money was no object, I swear I would cover my whole house in Carrara marble..

I better not show this to my wife. She finally agreed that an all-white bathroom would look fine, but if she sees this she will change her mind to a dark vanity...again! This room looks wonderful. I also like the paint colors in the bedroom. Really good job, thank you for sharing Aimee!

I've always, always wanted a marble bathroom. We're debating about ours....do we want to do the whole thing marble (at least floors, shower, countertop) or do we want to mix in some other stone (like maybe slate or subway?) Ahhh, decisions, decisions. In any case, this looks perfect. What size are the hex tiles? I wonder what those would look like on the entire bathroom floor..?
